Moth looked around her cavernous room. It was completely dark, except for the faint glow of a few blue-green crystals jutting out from the walls. She stretched, and fluttered down from her hanging bed to the ground. That's when she remembered: Rainbow Dash was coming to discuss plans with Queen Luna. Moth thought Rainbow Dash was one of the coolest ponies ever: and she wanted to make a good impression on her. She closed her eyes and concentrated hard. She became a lime green alicorn with short, spiky purple hair and three piercings in each ear. Usually she went with something more subtle, but today she wanted to stand out. Perfect, she thought, as she trotted out of her room.

Rainbow Dash walked into the Changeling's Lair. She had just been told that her meeting with the queen would be delayed due to some prisoner activity. She had always wanted to come here anyways, it sounded pretty cool. Rainbow looked at the weird pictures and the strange floors in awe. This is pretty cool. She looked around and saw a green pony coming towards her. She looked pretty friendly, so Rainbow Dash decided to introduce herself. "Hey, I'm Rainbow Dash, leader of the Shadowbolts. Who are you?" |

Moth jumped. Rainbow Dash was actually talking to her! "I am Lunar Moth, daughter of Queen Chrysalis. But everybody just calls me Moth," She momentarily shifted back into her natural form, and then she reformed to her punk alicorn self.

"Cool," Rainbow Dash stated. This was pretty cool-she was meeting the daughter of a changeling! She smiled, pushing her goggles up to the top of her head. "I'm sorry, but can I stay here a few hours? My meeting with the queen has been delayed." Rainbow felt like she was asking a lot, but she didn't really know what else to do, and it would be a waste of energy to fly to Cloudsdale, which was really far away, then fly back. She needed something to ease her time, and hanging out with Moth sounded like a fun thing to do. |

"Oh! Yeah, sure!" She led Rainbow Dash back to her room. "Is the area good for you? As a changeling, I can change the surrounding area to accommodate guests. I also have pretty powerful magic to form items." She quickly formed two dark leather sofas with bright green and turquoise throw pillows so that they could sit down.

Rainbow Dash smiled, "Thank you!" She looked on, impressed, as two sofas appeared out of nowhere. She flew up, then dived down onto the sofa, bouncing up and down as she landed, her smile just getting bigger and bigger each time she hit the sofa. That's when Rainbow Dash realized that she might be ignoring her newfound friend. She bounced one last time, and when she got into the air she stayed up, about ten feet off the ground. Rainbow slowly lowered herself to the ground where Moth was. "I love this place. Thank you again. And I know what we should play!" |

"What?" Moth was interested in what Rainbow Dash wanted to do. She sat up and looked at Rainbow Dash with full attention.

Rainbow Dash smiled and looked around, almost as if she were being watched. Then she slowly leaned over and whispered as loudly as she could, "We should prank someone." Pranking was always a favorite of Rainbow Dash's, she had done it all the time when she was just a little filly. Her parents had even thought that her cutie mark would have something to do with pranking. Not just Rainbow was surprised when she received her cutie mark. She knew almost every prank that there was to know. Plus five. |

Moth's eye twitched."Prank someone? But who is there to prank?" All of the other changelings, including her mother, were out feeding on the energy of Equestria. She, being half pony, only consumed solid food, so she stayed behind. She realized there was only one pony other than them to prank. And he wasn't really a pony.. he was Discord.

Rainbow Dash's eyes lit up, "It will be the hardest prank yet." She seized Moth and wrapped her left arm around her,"Imagine. Pranking Discord! The soul being of chaos, confused by a little trick!" With her right arm she gestured around both of them as if they were in a valley, and Rainbow Dash was showing her the whole of it in one big sweep. She let go of Moth and got in front of her, then came uncomfortably close to Moth's face. "So will ya? Or are you too scared to do a little prank?" This is making my trip so much more awesome. |

"Sure. Let's do it." She didn't like the idea that much, but Discord probably wouldn't mind that much. Whenever she did something even slightly chaotic, he congratulated her. She was worried about him doing something to Rainbow Dash. "What prank do you want to play?" She asked, slightly nervous.

Rainbow Dash wasn't even listening to Moth-she was too bust thinking up a dastardly prank to play on Discord. "How bout we throw him a party, but tell him it's the day AFTER the day it actually is?" She smiled evilly, she could see the whole plan working perfectly! She could just imagine Discord's face when he showed up, only to be told off by the guards. In FRONT of people. Rainbow Dash couldn't stop thinking about it, and she started to swoon, then fell over. Get up! You need your head to be in the now, not daydreaming about his surprised face! Rainbow Dash got up and steadied herself. "So? What do ya think?" |

"Or we could just set up mini pranks at the party we invite him to," she said. She really wanted to hang out with Rainbow, but she didn't want to get on the wrong side of Discord. He was a powerful enemy, even if she herself was on her side. She shivered at the thought of what he might do to her. There were some things even her magic couldn't protect against.

Rainbow Dash sighed, "That's probably a better idea. But not just little pranks. There should be some sort of grand finale to end it all!" Her eyes glinted darkly, "He'll never know what hit him." Her smile got bigger and bigger until she looked like some creepy creeper. Rainbow Dash wanted a big prank-she never really liked Discord anyways, and she wanted him to get embarrassed. Tricking the the entity of chaos, even just for a moment, would be the best feat in the history of pranking! But first they had to think of a prank. And a really good one a that. |

"Sounds good," Moth said. She morphed into her natural form an turned around. "Well, are you coming?" she asked, and with that she flew out of the room with her insect-like wings.
