Hangin' out with Rainbow Dash

[Rainbow Dash]

Rainbow Dash smiled crookedly as Moth flew out of the window, "I'm giving you a head start." She waited a few more moments after that, then tested her wings, got a few inches off the ground, then streaked out of the window, passing Moth in a heartbeat. She skidded to a stop, and, turning around, Rainbow Dash flew over to Moth with a big smile on her face.

"You gotta go a little faster, you know," she said promptly, crossing her arms(?) over her chest, but still continuing to fly backwards. Rainbow Dash loved flying, and she was so used to flying with ponies that could at least stay a few feet behind her. She wasn't used to normal flyers. Moth was fun and all, but she wasn't a very strong flyer, which slightly irritated Rainbow Dash. "Maybe you could turn into me or something, would that make you go faster?" Yeah, she was that impatient.

[Moth]

Moth rolled her eyes, and then changed into the former lead shadowbolt. She flew straight past Rainbow Dash, to where she planned to land. She zeroed in on the spot, and dived straight down, catching herself only centimeters before she would have hit the ground. "Happy?" Asked Moth, as she morphed back to normal. For some reason, she wanted to be in her true form when they pranked Discord.

Rainbow Dash smiled mischievously at Moth, then soared up all the way to the moon. Now it gets interesting. This was the first time she had done a sonic rainboom in forever. It might not work, what with all the darkness... But whatever-darkness was good, right? Rainbow Dash started to fly downwards, and her speed increased with every passing second. Soon she could feel the air surrounding her in a sort of arrow shape, and she squinted her eyes. She was wearing goggles, of course, but it was a natural instinct. And then it all exploded.

A rainbow had burst from her sonic boom, but it wasn't normal. It was brighter than normal, the colors almost neon! Rainbow Dash laughed in amazement as the neon colors followed her as she made her way to Moth, speeding up once more, then landing perfectly, her hair only slightly ruffled. "How was that?"

[Moth]

Moth huffed indignantly. She transformed into a pegasus with a purple and black mane and a greyish-purple coat. She didn't know exactly who it was, but she had found them in Rainbow Dash's recent memory. She flew up into the air and entered the phases of the sonic rainboom. When she broke the sound barrier, she saw a purple, grey, and black cyclone twisting in the air as she spun around it. Moth broke off and flew back to the ground. She once again morphed to her natural state and smiled sickeningly sweetly st Rainbow Dash, as a sort of friendly challenge.
